Christine Miller is Clinical Associate Professor of Innovation at Illinois Tech's Stuart School of Business. Prior to joining the Stuart School, Chris served on the faculty of the graduate program in Design Management at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Her interdisciplinary doctoral research integrating anthropology, business, and design explored process formalization and the relationship between innovation and formalization at a Tier One automotive supplier. Chris’s research interests incorporate how sociality and culture influence the design and diffusion of new products, processes, and technologies. She studies technology-mediated communication and knowledge work flows within multiple discipline groups, teams, and networks and the emergence of collaborative innovation networks (COINs).
